Bloom Buddies program

Therapy sessions end — but everyday life continues.

Bloom Buddies are trained, background-checked support providers who work with autistic and neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults, helping families navigate everyday developmental, behavioral, and learning needs in real-life settings — where challenges actually happen.

When therapy isn’t available, isn’t enough, or simply isn’t happening in the moment, Bloom Buddies step in to help skills carry over into daily life.

How does it works?

  • Start with our short online form. You’ll share:

Which domain of support (Behavior & Daily Life, Emotional Wellness, or School & Learning) best fits.

Which Bloom Buddy tier you prefer.

Your child’s needs, strengths, and support goals

Preferred days, times, and hours per week (6, 10, 15, 30, or 40 hrs)

Your location and setting preference (home, community, school, church)

A review of our current pricing plans — no commitment required

  • We begin locating a trained Bloom Buddy in your area whose availability aligns with your request.

Matching takes up to 1–2 weeks based on location, need, and schedule. We aim for consistency and the right personality fit for your child.

  • You’ll only be invoiced after a Bloom Buddy is successfully assigned and your proposed schedule is approved.

This ensures you don’t pay until we’ve secured the right support for your family.

  • Once payment is received, sessions begin on your agreed schedule — and your Bloom Buddy steps in with purpose.

Your Bloom Buddy is more than a sitter — they are a trained, ABA-informed support partner who works directly with your child to create meaningful moments of growth, learning, and regulation.

During sessions, your Bloom Buddy may:

Build routines through consistent activities like visual schedules, timers, and guided transitions

Use positive reinforcement to shape desired behaviors and reduce meltdowns or tantrums

Support communication by encouraging words, gestures, or AAC systems (if used)

Coach emotional regulation using calming techniques, sensory tools, or behavior breaks

Model social skills through play, conversation, and structured peer or sibling interaction

Help with transitions (e.g., leaving the house, bedtime, mealtime, or school pickup)

Document observations and offer parent updates so you can track progress and stay informed

  • At the end of each month, we’ll check in with you to:

Review how things are going — What’s working well? What could be better?

Make any changes — Adjust your weekly hours, switch days, or request a new Bloom Buddy if needed

Plan ahead — Decide if you want to continue, pause, or scale your support up or down

There’s no long-term commitment. You’re never locked into a contract — just supported on a month-to-month basis that fits your child’s progress and your family’s needs.
